At the end of a pleasant day on the snow you cannot miss a dinner in one of the typical restaurants scattered all along the ski slopes as they are one of the most original characteristics of Pila. A new transport service with two snowmobiles, each carrying up to 20 people in closed cabins, can safely take you at altitude to have dinner surrounded by an unforgettable landscape. Our restaurants offer sophisticated menus and typical settings and you can choose among traditional dishes and excellent local DOC wines such as Gamay, Fumin and Torrette. Try our unusual taste-matchings: chestnuts with Arnad lard or mocetta (dry and salted meat) with blackbread and honey. Do not forget our outstanding soups: traditional Valpellinentze (cabbage, bread and fontina cheese), Seuppa de Vercuinno (made with wild spinach) or Zuppa dell’Alpeggio (barley cooked in red wine).
